Implemented as part of update 9.5, users now "Follow" a playlist instead of liking it. Following a playlist means that you will periodically receive an update in your notifications feed when tracks have been added to it.
You do not need to go back and follow the playlists you previously liked. Now, any playlists you liked are being followed automatically.
