What is Voloco?
Voloco is an app with 70 million+ downloads that helps you make high-quality recordings on your phone. Millions of professional & aspiring musicians and content creators have been using Voloco for over 5 years to help them create anywhere & everywhere without expensive studio time, equipment, and software.
I'm a BeatStars Producer. Why are my beats on Voloco?
BeatStars and Voloco have been partners since 2023 to help BeatStars creators bring their beats to the perfect audience: millions of vocalists, rappers, and creators worldwide. Paid BeatStars subscribers (Professional, Growth, and Starter) now have their own profile on Voloco, expanding their reach to a broader audience—without changing their existing beat upload or sales process. Only free beats are synced to Voloco at this time. You do not need to subscribe to Voloco to sync your beats.
Which beats of mine are on Voloco?
At this time, only paid BeatStars subscribers’ free beats are synced to Voloco. The beats must also be public and published on the BeatStars Marketplace to appear in the Voloco app (i.e., unlisted or private free beats will not be presented in Voloco).
Does this change anything about payments?
No. All payments for beat use are still exactly the same and are handled entirely through BeatStars. Your existing workflow in BeatStars is not changing. Voloco is not directly involved in beat leasing transactions in any way.
How does this get me more sales?
Voloco brings your beats directly to millions of vocalists, rappers, and creators as they’re about to record in Voloco. All beats on your Voloco profile will have a button to redirect the user to purchase the beat from their BeatStars storefront. Only beats with a free download option are synced at this time. You'll also gain access to a list of users who have imported and recorded with your beats in Voloco. This list includes their username and, for those who opt-in, their email—allowing you to reach out directly for marketing and retargeting efforts. What about privacy?
The only information BeatStars is sharing with Voloco for this placement is your publicly available BeatStars profile information (username, location if shared in profile, links to socials). Voloco fully complies with GDPR and CCPA standards regarding privacy and user information.
Can I opt out of having my beats displayed on Voloco?
Yes, you can opt out of having your free beats catalog by taking the following steps:
In a web browser:
- Log into your BeatStars account
- Access Account Settings by clicking on your avatar in the top right corner of the page.
- Click on Voloco Account
- Disable Content Sharing
In the BeatStars Studio app:
- Open the BeatStars Studio app
- Tap on More from the main navigation menu
- Tap on Account -> Voloco Account -> Disable Content Sharing
If you wish to opt out individual tracks from Voloco, you can do so by taking the following steps:
In a web browser:
- Log into your BeatStars account
- Access your tracks catalog (under My Content if you are using Studio or Tracks if you are using Marketplace)
- For your track you wish to opt-out, click on the ‘...’ button on the far right of the listing, and select Remove from Voloco
In the BeatStars Studio app:
- Open your BeatStars Studio app
- Tap on More from the main navigation menu
- Tap on Tracks -> Uploaded
- For your track you wish to opt-out, tap on the ‘...’ button on the far right of the listing, and select Remove from Voloco
Note: You can bulk opt-out tracks by first bulk selecting your desired tracks before selecting Remove from Voloco.
Will the beats I upload in the future go to Voloco?
Yes, if you are a paid BeatStars subscriber (Professional, Growth, or Starter), any free beats you upload to your BeatStars profile in the future will be automatically synced to your Voloco profile unless you opt out of doing so.
Why do I have duplicate beats on my Voloco profile?
If you've already uploaded a beat to both Voloco and BeatStars, then there will now be two versions of it on your Voloco profile. You can prevent this from happening by following the opt-out steps listed above.
How do I connect my accounts?

I use my Google, Apple, or X (Twitter) credentials to sign into BeatStars, but there's no option for this on Voloco. How can I claim my Voloco profile in this case?
In this scenario, you'll need to reset your password to claim your Voloco profile. On the BeatStars login screen, enter your username, and at the next step, select "Forgot Password." Follow the instructions to create a new password, then use your email and the updated password to sign into Voloco and access your profile.
I had a Voloco profile but haven't used it in a while.
Please use Voloco’s account recovery feature. For more information on how to do so, please see 'How do I recover my account?'
I want to send DMs to users on Voloco or customize my information displayed on Voloco.
It’s easy to activate Voloco DMs or customize your Voloco profile information! Just sign in to Voloco using the BeatStars sign-in option, and you can send DMs within Voloco and edit the information displayed on your Voloco profile.
DMs within Voloco are automatically turned off for BeatStars users until you log in to Voloco for the first time using your BeatStars credentials.
Once you’ve connected your BeatStars account to Voloco, you can decide whether or not you’d like to receive DMs on Voloco. To change this setting, open the Voloco app and tap on the Messages icon, located next to your Profile Icon. Once you’re in Messages, tap on the ‘Messages Settings’ icon, located next to the ‘New Message’ icon. From Messages Settings, you can choose if you want to receive DMs from Everyone, People You Follow, or No One. To learn more, see 'How do I change my message settings?'
