Q: How did you get started making music?
“My Dad taught me to play guitar when I was a kid which really inspired me to learn guitar covers that I could sing over. That led me into writing my own music and experimenting with different styles of beats.”
Q: Which genres do you like to work in?
“I pretty much love every genre of music. I like to do a little bit of everything because it’s so fun to experiment. I started with RnB but now I’m getting more into pop, Indie and alt rock. I’d like to try out some dance music next, but who knows maybe I’ll try out country 😂”
Q: What inspires you to create?
“What inspires me the most is other people’s creations. When I hear good music it makes me get antsy and all of a sudden I want to make something good now too.”
Q: Who are your favorite artists and why?
"As I said I love all genres so that question is very hard so I’ll just give two for the moment. Laufey and Steve Lacy. I love their sound because it’s so different from everything else I hear. Plus almost EVERY song is a banger."
Q: How do you like to use Voloco?
"I mostly use Voloco for promotion and inspiration. Anytime I find a beat I do my rough draft on Voloco until I’m able to get into a studio and record, this makes it so much easier for whoever is recording me since I’m not starting from scratch. Voloco has helped me so much in my confidence as well. Soooo many people asked me to make a SoundCloud or post on Spotify which is a big affirmation.”
