How to copy and paste vocal segments

You can copy and paste the same vocal segment in multiple places within a project.

To copy and paste a vocal segment, start by tapping on the vocal segment you would like to copy so that it is highlighted. Then, from the pop-up menu, select "Copy."

Now, tap the empty segment of the vocal track where you would like the copied vocals to be placed. Select "Paste" from the pop-up menu.

You'll see the copied vocal segment appear. The start of the segment will be placed where the playhead is sitting in the project, not where you've tapped on the vocal track.

What's a "Playhead?"

The playhead is the horizontal white line used to denote where you are working within the project. It is accompanied by a time stamp above it, showing how far into the track you are. Playheads are a standard visual indicator seen across recording software, and they help users understand how what they hear lines up with what they see on screen.
