If you've signed into Voloco on a different device, you'll find that the projects you created previously aren't in your library. Here's some information on what has happened.
Why did this happen?
The projects made in Voloco are not automatically transferred to a new device because they are saved to the app's data stored directly on your device. When you sign into the app on a new device, your projects remain stored on the original device used to create them. The projects created in Voloco are not backed up or stored in a cloud storage location. This is because the file for a project is much larger and more complex than a traditional audio file.
Can I get my projects back?
These projects can only be recovered if you still have access to the device they were created on and Voloco has not been uninstalled from that device. Unfortunately, the projects cannot be recovered if you've wiped the device's data or no longer have access to it. They cannot be restored through a device backup, and our team cannot access the files stored on your device.
How can I keep this from happening again?
The easiest way to ensure you can always listen to the songs you've made in the app is to publish them to your Voloco profile. Please note that this does not save the track to your device, but it does share the track to your Voloco profile, which means you can access it through your Voloco profile in the future. If you would like more information on publishing to your Voloco profile, see 'How do I publish my tracks in the app?'
Another way to ensure you always have access to your songs is to download them as an audio file to your device and then save the file to Google Drive, iCloud, or Dropbox This is particularly helpful if you want to access your song across multiple devices. For more information on downloading your songs from Voloco, see 'How do I download my tracks?'
